Transferring to UCF for Spring 2013

I sent my Application in on May 2nd 2012 and was wondering what my chances of being accepted into the Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice are if anyone could help. I am in the Law Enforcement Academy Track Program at Indian River State College and for the first Fall semester in College for the Fall 2011 term I made the Dean's List with a 3.8 GPA. In the Spring of 2012 I made a 2.6 GPA which dropped my overall GPA to a 3.2..upon receiving the Deans List I was inducted into the National Honors Society of Phi Theta Kappa at my College. I am suppose to have my Associates in Science Degree in Criminal Justice in December of 2012 with between 61 and 64 credits. My application status right now say If required documents (transcripts, test scores, etc.) have been submitted, your application is currently being reviewed by our admission committee for the Spring 2013 term. My ACT score was a 14 I took it one time in 2009 and my SAT score was a 720 also taken one time in 2009. I am really anxious and really want to attend UCF for the 2013 Spring term. I applied to UCF in 2011 for the Fall but was denied with a letter that read Your application for admission to the University of Central Florida has been carefully considered by the Admissions staff. Due to the academic strength of this year's applicant pool, we regret that we are unable to offer you admission for the Fall 2011 term. I would greatly appreciate others opinion if they think I will be okay

ElijahC. Was UCF’s decision to deny your admission to their school in 2011 because you didn’t have enough college credits (atleast 60 for an A.A or A.S?). I just read your post in the other thread that said you plan on finishing your A.S this fall. I’m sure you will get in with an A.S. Just keep that GPA up a 3.0. Not sure if they will still factor in SAT and ACT scores.

I applied as a Freshman that year it was the year I just graduated high school so I believe my SAT and ACT scores played a big role in the Decision. I hope it doesn’t now because I have had 4 semesters of College and have 46 credits right now and just enrolled in my last 18 credits and currently have a 3.47 GPA and made the Dean’s List 3 out of the 4 semesters. I am just waiting hopefully very soon they will make a Decision my Transcripts was sent on the 10th of August.
