Transferring to UCI. thinking of dropping one major prep class

So I currently have 3.65 GPA at my local CC and im transferring for UCI’s business information management major (I TAG UCI) so i will have all the major prep class done by the end of this spring which is:

2 accounting class
2 econ class
2 cs class
2 college math (prefer calc 1 and 2)

so pretty much i have all those done and above the 3.0 TAG requirement but im not doing so well in calc 2 right now and im thinking of dropping it instead of tanking my GPA. any idea how dropping calc 2 gonna impact my admission? and if UCI will let me take it during summer?

Not completing your major pre-reqs would void your TAG, wouldn’t it? And then dropping a Spring class would honestly look pretty bad when it comes to admissions I think, what sort of grade are you looking at in Calc 2? Are you finding it impossible to come out of this class with a passing grade? Look over your TAG agreement because if I were in your position I wouldn’t want to void that at all at this stage. My best advice would be to find a way to get the help you need for the class and avoid dropping it.
