Transferring to UCLA,UCB,UCSC,UCSB,and UCSD

I currently have a 3.43 and it might go up to a 3.5 following the fall semester. i have completed IGETC and will major in history. I have activities and community service hours and i work while attending classes at a california community college full time. I have also done particular well in the summer semesters and my grades have been going up each semester i have been in school. I also suffered a stroke at a young age and had a learning disability come up because of it. all of these thing i will put in my personal statement. I will be applying for Fall 2006 What are are my chances at admission by way of transfer into UCLA,UCSD,UCB,UCSC,UCSB.thanks to anyone who replys.

UCSC is the easiest to get into, then UCSB, then UCSD then UCLA and UCB. If you raise it to a 3.5 you have a chance at all of them. With a 3.43 I think you are good for UCSC and UCSB and kind of in there with UCSD but a reach for UCLA and UCB.

The admit rate at UCLA for history was 65% for Fall 2005. The average applicant GPA was 3.37 and the average admitted GPA was 3.53. It's considered an impacted major.

I don't think History is an impacted major at ucla but i could be wrong.65% doesn't sound that bad.Anyways i have applied to UCSC and UCSB for the winter and i almost sure i will get into both but i really want to go to UCLA so That is why i'm wondering if my records are strong enough.

It is starred on that website which refers to its status as impacted. Definitely work on raising it to a 3.5. I think you can do it.
