Transferring to UCM TO UCSC?

<p>Hello,
After I finish my required amount of units to transfer, I want to transfer to UCSC for film.
UCM has specific campus requirements such as Writing 10 and Core...I was wondering if I need to take those classes in order to transfer out since they are specific to UC Merced.
Please share if you know about this or have experienced this before.
