Transferring to UGA Help!

Alright so I’m looking to transfer to UGA by Spring 2020. In order to meet the deadline, I need 30 credit hours minimum. I took 8 semester credit hours at Georgia Southern before transferring to a local junior college. My understanding is for every 5 credits earned on a quarter system, they’re worth 3.3 semester credits. If that’s the case, I’ll have around 23-25 credit hours at the end of the Spring quarter. I plan on taking two summer classes, both worth 3.3 university credit hours each. I’ll have the 30 hours at the end of the summer before the deadline if all of what I’m assuming holds true. Some of the classes that transfer are electives, and the transfer equivalency tool doesn’t calculate elective hours. I really hope this works out, I’m going to feel like such an idiot if my application gets denied. UGA is my only choice school in state, I’m not interested in going anywhere else so I’m really hoping this works out. If anyone has any advice, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.

No advice since you appear to understand the situation.

Just curious if you have any comments about Georgia Southern that you would be willing to share.

Pretty campus. I met a lot of cool people there in a short amount of time. I still talk to a few people there on a regular basis. There are so many ways to get involved on campus, too.
