<p>I am a sophomore at Parkland College (engineering), willing to transfer to the U of I. I am an international student but I am a permanent resident here in Illinois. I have met almost all of the requirements to transfer, except one. My technical GPA is very low (2.5) out of 3 Required. My overall GPA is good at 3.3 and I have gotten over 100 in my TOEFL test. I had some family and personal issues over the past years which affected my grades. I explained these problems in my essay. I applied for this spring, what are my chances?? I think not too heavy?</p>
