Transferring to UMiami

<p>Just did a year at Tulane, and loved the vibe, but decided New Orleans wasn't for me. UM seems like Tulane, just in Miami, so I'm confident it'll be a good fit for me.</p>

<p>I only managed a 3.0 GPA at Tulane - it was kinda tough holding down two jobs and schoolwork, I guess.</p>

<p>I should also mention that I was previously admitted to UM, but they had taken me for the spring not the fall so I had turned them down.</p>

<p>I graduated HS with a 3.7 (unweighted) and an 1870 SAT.</p>

<p>What do you guys think?</p>

<p>Well, if you have completed more than 30 credits at Tulane, you HS record no longer matters and neither will your SATs . They will base admissions primarily on what you did at you last school. But I would mention how you had been previously admitted, it might help you a bit.</p>
