Transferring to Union College

Hope there are any Union students here. Hi, I am currently an Economics major in Siena College doing Pre-law. I wanted to know a few things about Union College:

  1. Is Union worth the cost?

Siena costs about 20k per year after scholarships w/o room and board. Fortunately, my parents are paying. From talking to my Dad he doesn’t mind paying more for me to go to Union, but he wanted to know if the pre-law program at Union is good. He wants to know if it is worth the money.

  1. Is Union more competitive than Siena?

My mom said that Union is a lot more competitive than Siena. This said it will be harder for me to get good grades and maintain my position in the accelerated pre-law program that I am in.

  1. Are class sizes bigger in Union than in Siena?

I read from somewhere that class sizes in Union range from 15-50. In my experience, the maximum class size is 30 in Siena. I have ADHD issues any class size over 30.

If considered by standardized scoring profiles, you will note space between Union, 88th nationally, and Siena, 382nd, in this analysis of a few years ago:
