Transferring to University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

Hey Guys!
I’m a second semester sophomore health science major at Merrimack College in Massachusetts and I’m looking to transfer to The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. What do you think my chances of admission are? I’m looking at the college of biological sciences

-3.9 GPA
-Deans List every semester
-tutor for my anatomy class
-volunteered weekly for a semester at a middle school helping kids with math and science
-volunteered weekly for another semester at IMEC (a medical supply packing company), where I assisted in packing medical supplies for impoverished countries
-Volunteered for my colleges “Mack Gives Back” day of community service
-Was a biology study group leader, where my professor asked me to help other classmates study before exams
-Strong letters of recommendation

I’m worried about the classes I’ve been taking at Merrimack however. I’ve taken biology, anatomy and chemistry, however I took “chemistry for health professions” and I doubt the college would take that as General Chemistry. Also the only math course I’ve taken in college is precalculus and I’m in it right now.

CBS is one of the harder, but your gpa is above the average admitted into CBS and your volunteer work will look really good. I personally don’t think you have anything to worry about, even considering the classes you take. Maybe I think this because I go to UMN, but I think its a good match for you.
