Hey guys! So basically right now I’m at SBCC. I am a first year trying to transfer to USC as a sophomore; I have 15 units completed from fall semester and will have 15 completed this current spring semester. I have a 3.8 currently and will most likely continue having a 3.8 after this semester finishes, as well. Since I am going in with less than 30 units, USC looks at my high school grades. My high school grades were very average; I took like 10 AP courses and got Bs and I think even a C in one of them leaving my overall weighted GPA to be 3.4 and my SAT around 1770. I was very involved in ASB, dance team, etc. At SBCC, I am in Phi Theta Kappa honors society and on the President’s honor roll. Both of my sisters attended USC, and I have a Trojan transfer plan. My essays for USC were ultimately about how it has been my absolutely dream since I was 8 to go to USC and how USC has been so great to my family. I am confident my SBCC grades are sufficient, as I have completed all but one USC recommended GE for transfer. My major is undecided. What are my chances ???
Did you get in?
