Transferring to UT Austin School of Social Work?!

Hello,

I am currently a student at UTSA but I am not a CAP student because I applied too late! (Though, I always say I am just to make it easier lol.)

Anyways, I would like to transfer to UT Austin and major in Social Work, and I am wondering if I have a good chance of getting accepted.

So far, here are the classes I take...

Intro to Sociology
American Politics
Geology - The Third Planet
Freshman Comp 1
Intro to Mathematics for liberal arts and social sciences majors

= 15 hours. And, I think I will make an A in all these classes which would make my GPA a 4.0!!

Next semester, I plan to take the following:
Freshman Comp 2
American Politics 2
Intro to Macroeconomics
Into to Psychology
Spanish

= 16 hours (Spanish is 4 credits.)

I have made sure that all these courses transfer to UT Austin, and am trying to follow the CAP recommendations for Social Work majors. My only concern, is the rigor of these courses.. I know UT Austin looks highly at how rigorous a course was, and these are all relatively easy. I am taking all these easy courses because they are both part of UTSA's and UT Austins core.

Currently, I have no community service but can easily change that.

So, if I maintain a 4.0 GPA(or, at minimal, a 3.5) are my chances of getting into UT Austin good? I have fallen in love with their Social Work program and would really like to attend!

Thanks!
