Transferring to UW with an Associates?

Hi guys, I’m wanting to transfer to UW. I’m currently enrolled in a community college in Washington. I’ll be applying this December after my fall quarter, and by then I’ll have at least 53 credits completed. My goal is to get my DTA associates degree spring 2020 and then transfer autumn 2020. The only way I wouldn’t get my associates in the spring would be if my advisor doesn’t let me exceed the credit limit for my fall 2019 and winter 2020 quarters. If this is the case, I would just take my remaining 10 credits in the summer. I guess what I’m asking is what are my chances of getting in? Also will having my AA have an impact on if I’m admitted or not? My GPA this last quarter was a 3.2 but I’m hoping to get it up this summer and fall.

I also plan on applying to UW Bothell and Western

Also my DTA will be in Business Administration, but if I am not able to be accepted in Foster, where would I go from there?

Sounds like you’re doing the right things (doing the DTA, working on your GPA, and having a back-up plan). No one can predict your admissions results. Only thing to add is – don’t take the application lightly and put your best effort into the essays.
