Transferring too many times?

So right now I'm at a community college with aspirations to go to a top10/15 business school in fall of 2009. However I am miserable at home. I'm thinking of transferring to a SUNY like maybe New Paltz for the spring semester to get away and be in a better environment but then still transfer to the best business school I can get into for fall 2009. WIll this "interim" transfer make admissions look at me as a person who can't stay at one place and look down upon this? Will this have a negative impact on my chances of transferring to where I want to go?

thanks!

It might make more sense to stay at New Paltz for more than one term. If you are a freshman, have you considered staying at New Paltz through your sophomore year.... apply in late 2009/Spring 2010 for Fall 2010?

Although I don't know, and this is only a guess, I don't think a move from cc to New Paltz to applying to a higher ranked 4 year would look bad. It might make it difficult for you to get prof recs, but it might not.

Sarah Palin got away with it, and look where she is now :P
I'd say you are as qualified as she is.

My son is transferring to SUNY New Paltz for Spring semester. I don't know the ramifications of transferring multiple times, but why not transfer to NP and do really well so you can gain entrance to a good grad school?

anybody have any legit information on this?
