Transferring twice... and again? Will that look bad?

I'm sorry, you've probably seen my name a lot on this board LOL but I know little about transferring and would like to transfer.

The thing is, I'm currently a first year. In high school, I was an okay student and couldn't get into my reaches. I still would like to attend one of my reaches. My current university is a private one and it's simply "okay" in my standards. I know prestige isn't always it but if I am paying $15k a year (this is what the finaid, scholarships/grants don't cover), then I'd rather be at a more prestigious school.

In my other thread, I listed schools to be chanced (such as UNC Chapel Hill, Carnegie Mellon are my top 2~!!!), but I doubt I can get in still. So what I want to do is transfer back to my local university FOR MY SOPHOMORE YEAR (pay almost nothing), then transfer as a rising junior to one of those schools since hs grades will not matter.

On top of that, I believe transfers receive less finaid? So I think staying at my current school would just rid me of $15k that I could've saved and spent on a better, more prestigious school.

Thoughts? Will it look bad to admissions if I seem to be transferring back and forth like this?

hs stats:
GPA 3.3 uw / 4.1 w
class rank: top 40%
SAT: 1700 / 1920 superscore
EC: tonssss

college stats:
gpa: n/a
EC: studying abroad in england right now, in one society/club here as a EC
plan to join more when i get back to states

Lots of people transfer because of money. This really isn’t a problem.

Usually you do get less aid as a transfer from the college, but your federal aid shouldn’t change unless your family has a new circumstance.

I transferred twice and no one seemed to care or ask why. I haven’t heard that grad schools would look down on that, either.
