Transferring twice and grad school

I recently transferred to VT as a junior from a CC in Virginia. But I am not happy at all here and I was wondering how bad would it look on a grad school application if I transfer to another university? It seems that spring 2012 will be my last chance of transferring.

If you are not happy there, why are you so worried about what it’s going to look like on your application? Would you really stay miserable in a place for 2 years just for the “look” on your application?

With that said, no, I don’t think it will look bad. Transferring many times may make you look unfocused, but in this case transferring from a CC to a 4-year-college isn’t really a choice. It’s a requirement if you want to finish a BA or BS.

No, it probably won’t matter. I transferred twice (CC–>4-year–>4-year) but it was never brought up or discussed in my interviews.

I can’t believe how same we are; I’m a junior at VT and I came from Virginia CC through guaranteed admission contract. Are you in Engineering?(I am). I was wondering how bad it would look to others if I transferred twice (just like you). Where do you wanna go?
