I'm going to be a second year in college, and I went to Solano Community College for the fall and spring semesters. I wasn't serious first semester so i only came up with three units, but second semester i got back on top of things and took 16. So right now i only have 19 units. I transferred to Sacramento State and I am taking 16 units there this fall. I kind of wanted to stay in a community college for another year, but I lower division transferred to get out of my parents' house. Going to a four your college was the only way my parents would pay for me to live away from home. The thing is, I'd like to transfer again. My gpa for those 19 units is about a 3.48. I'd like to transfer maybe to a UC, but i was reading on UCLA's site that in order to upper division transfer, you must have 60 units at the end of the spring semester before you transfer. I don't know if it's like that for all other schools or not. But does that mean I can't transfer again? Because there is no way I will have 60 units by the end of the spring semester; I will only have about 50. Is it possible to transfer that next spring instead of fall? Thanks

All the UC schools are in need of a 60 credit minimum to be considered a transfer. On top of that the curiculum of courses you must take cannot be completed in less time really. I personally am looking at USD and USF. Easier to get into and still very well respected schools ranking highly in the nation. I am in roughly the same boat as you so I would suggest either trying for those schools or contacting a UC school and meeting with them to discuss what classes you must take and then if you say you'll have 50 by end of spring take summer school and try for admission then.
