I'm going to go to Cal summer school and taking a 3 unit and a 4 unit class. Does anyone know how many units these classes are worth at another UC?

(Cal is on semesters and other UCs are on quarters, presumably to prevent non-Cal people from exchanging)

well how many units are the equivalent classes at the other UCs? that's probably the number of units you would get for the classes at cal.

logically, i would think:

quarter units * (2/3) = semester units
semester units * (3/2) = quarter units

10.5 quarter units.

Yea I know all the math behind it, but what is it in reality? Did anyone from another UC take Cal classes and have them transfer over?

Is a 3 unit Cal class equivalent to a 4 unit other-UC class for major credit?

Major credit is determined by the department and other minor variables.
