I'm currently going to community college and trying to transfer into a nursing program at a university. However, because of budget cuts it's pretty much impossible for me to get the right classes. I don't want to stay here for 5 years trying to meet all the requirements for programs - could I just disregard my college credits and apply as a freshman? If it depends on the school, does anyone know a school that would allow me to do that?

You can never disregard college credits, you must submit all transcripts. That said, some schools let you apply as a fr with some college credits, others don’t, you need to go to the college websites to find out.
