Transferring While in "Not Good Standing?"

I’m finishing up my transfer applications (many to top 20 schools), and wondering how this will affect my admissions chances. Although I’m only a sophomore, dude to AP credits, I’m already way ahead of my graduation track and could possibly graduate by the end of next year if I wasn’t transferring. My GPA is also good as I currently have a 3.8. My only issue is that I fell behind my school’s annual minimum progress requirement by 1 unit (they apparently don’t count APs), so I am “not in good standing,” something that the dean is asked to report on in the College Report from the Common App. Although I am taking enough units to rectify this by the end of his quarter, the quarter ends in late March, after the deadlines, so I’m thinking it would be better to just submit the forms now with my apps.

Should I address this in my Common Applications anywhere? How will this affect my admissions chances?
