Transferring With 30 Credits

Does this put me at a disadvantage? I’m applying to Michigan (in-state) and I’ve heard they like around 40 credits. I might go back to CC and get those 10 credits, but I’d rather do an extracurricular activity or something else.

I transferred to another college after my freshman year with 29 credits. It’s perfectly normal but isn’t the most common (post sophomore transfers are most common) because a lot of transfers are CC grads with associates degrees therefore they’ve already completed a greater amount of credits (two years worth) by default but I would definetly apply. There is nothing holding you back.

Don’t listen to people. Check the transfer section of their website for official requirements.
