Hey! I’m currently a student at a community college. I took Physics 1 twice. The first time I got a F. The second I got a D. I been admitted to my dream college as a Engineer in the Fall. I was working full time while trying to take a full course load but honestly, I don’t think that is really a excuse for failing this class. I passed all my other classes with one B, one C, and the rest are A’s. My GPA is probably around a 3.2~.
Do you guys think that they would rescind their offer? The current transfer GPA is a 2.5~ (from the top of my head). I have enough credits to transfer but I’m afraid that failing physics twice as a Engineering admit would screw me over.
The only people who can answer that are the people at the college you are transferring to. So contact them and ask. They may want to to re-take physics again before you get there, or they may ask you to just wait and take it after you arrive.
It is not a good idea to work full time and study full time. Very, very few people can do that without failing a class or having to drop one. Do your best to find a better work/study balance at the new college.
