Hey, I'm currently at the University of Richmond where I'm going to end up with like a 3.1 for the first year, which is low, but there's tons of grade deflation here and I also got screwed with this required class Core which I got a C in first semester and am going to again 2nd semester, besides that I have all B, B+'s, A's...I was accepted to Colgate out of high school and I've always wanted to go there, so I want to know my chances for transferring there as a sophomore.

Well, Colgate doesn't accept many people, but I think you should apply as quickly as possible and explain how you made the wrong choice. The longer you wait, the higher your GPA will need to be to convince them you can handle the work.

Best of luck :)
