<p>Hey, I am thinking about transferring to Kenyon, and was wondering if anybody had any experience with doing so, how it went, or how transfers do at kenyon. easy to make friends/become involved in social scene?

<p>i currently attend barnard, in the spring was deciding between barnard and kenyon, and decided to go to the city...not such a good choice, from what i have experienced.</p>

<p>I didn't transfer here, but I did arrive a week late and missed freshman orientation. I think anyone who wants to can make friends and get into the social scene here. It's a small college so everyone recognizes everyone, if not by name, by face. </p>
<p>My friend is a guest student here right now, and she's thinking about transferring here next year. If the city isn't working out, maybe little ol' Gambier will.</p>
<p>I didn't transfer either, but I know a few transfers who transitioned very easily. They are totally happy with their decisions and made friends easily. I think anyone coming into the Kenyon community, whether a freshmen, visiting student, or transfer are very well received.</p>
