Transferring?

Just wondering, how hard would it be to transfer as a sophomore to Barnard, Columbia, Georgetown, or Boston College? I’ll be a freshman at a top 30 (ranked by U.S. News) university this fall, so let’s suppose my GPA after one year of college is somewhere between 3.8 and 4.0…how realistic would it be to transfer? My HS stats are 2250 SAT and 3.89 GPA UW; 4.3 W (all my classes were either APs or honors). My extracurriculars were decent. Not great, but obviously good enough to get into a top 30. I didn’t apply to any of these schools, BTW. Figured I had no chance at Columbia and Georgetown, never really considered BC, and didn’t really know about Barnard.
Would I have a decent shot? What would I have to do in college to up my chances of being accepted?
I’m not definitely transferring; in fact, I’m pretty excited for next year. I’m just wondering in case it turns out I’m not happy at the school I will be attending.

How hard is it to transfer in general?

Anyone care to reply…?

What university are you attending in the fall?

Did you try to take the ACT to help alongside your SAT scores?

hi  I am a transfer student entering Barnard in the fall! You’re stats look great! keep your GPA up and get involved on campus in the fall  that’s what I did and it worked for me !Good Luck! ps- give the school you’re about to attend a fair chance, first!
