So I am almost done with my first semester at a 4 year university, and honestly I really do not like this school's science department or overall quality of education. Nobody speaks English, the TAs and Professors are on different pages, and the classes are enormous. I was advised to go to a CC for my first 2 years by my family (since they all went and now they are professionals in their respective fields). I decided to force myself to like this university (which really does not fit me) and went anyways. Now I'm paying the price: I'll be luck if I get a 3.0 this semester.

My main question is, does transferring from a university to community college look bad on med school applications? Usually people go the other way and transfer from a CC to a university. If I do this, will I end my chances at med school?

I've been losing alot of sleep over this. Am I better off staying at this University or transferring out?

Anybody, please respond.
