transferring

hey everyone I’m currently a CC student and I’m transferring next year. Right now my GPA is 2.26 primarily because i screwed up one two many semesters. I’m trying to fix my GPA, so far i have two classes to AR and two I’m retaking next semester. What my chances of getting into Northridge. I’m currently a theater major. Technically if I can academicaly renew one of the courses i got a d in ill have a 2.4

I think your best path to transfer to CSUN is to complete the AA-T for Theater Arts. http://adegreewithaguarantee.com/AboutTheProgram/FindYourPath.aspx?major=1005#newResults

Good luck!

Assuming you’ve taken the correct classes, you should be able to transfer to your local CSU or one of the non-impacted CSUs, including Channel Islands and Monterrey.

If Northridge is your local school, the AA-T should do the trick. If not, GPA will probably keep you out. I haven’t seen any hard GPA thresholds for AAT transfers (like UCs do with TAG. )

Apply broadly

Good luck

thanks for your response guys I know its a bit easier for theater students to get accepted, just a bit nervous.

actual gpa is a 2.6

as of next semester
