Is it any bit possible to transfer between UC’s?

I have a more specific question. What kind of stats would I need in order to transfer into Berkeley Engineering after 2 years of Davis? Would a 4.0 guarantee acceptance?

I don't know but Jamers there is this program at UC Santa Cruz

UC Santa Cruz: Jack Baskin School of Engineering
Engineering - 3/2 Dual Degree Program
5 year program leading to a BA degree in social science, humanities or art field from Santa Cruz and a B.S. degree in Engineering from Berkeley

that sounds pretty good if I say so myself....

I don't think that applies to us but thanks for the reply...

To transfer between UCs you need an excellent reason, such as that the UC you are at does not offer a major you want. It doesn't happen often. If you want a UC you did not get into, your only strong shot is a ccc.

Transferring to UCB engineering from Davis is probably as near to impossible as you can get. Maybe if you get a UCB prof to say he wants you for specialized research.

What if tried transfering to a UC from SDSU? How possible would that be?

Actually I would like to knwo that as well what if I tried to transfer from SDSU to UCSD?

Is it very difficult to go from a CSU to a UC! I know friends who wanted to do that, however got held up, as the UC's don't typically like to take students from CSU's.

if u want to transfer from a cal state to a UC dont count on it it will be really hard, i reccomend going to a CC, i have friends that goto cal states and have tried they all tell me they wished they had gone the community college route.

According to articles I have read, for UC transfers, priority is always given to community college applicants. After that, it is relatively split concerning whether UC transfers are given priority over other 4-year insitutions or not. For most UC campuses, transfer applicants from UCs and other 4-year institutions are given equal secondary priority(Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, SB, Riverside); but UCLA, San Diego, and Santa Cruz actually give priority to UC applicants over other 4-year college applicants. Here's an article worth reading concerning the subject:

Wow thanks for ansering my question.

Also, this transfer guide from the UC Pathways site is useful:
