Hey So I want to transfer from my current school, I am a freshman, and my last semester grades were averaged at a 2.4, I would like to transfer this fall to a school in the south, but I am worried about my grades,
I was also thinking that I could transfer somewhere close to my house, and pull up my grades so I would have a better chance of getting into a good business school in the south.
Thanks for any suggestions~!

I don't know if there's much to suggest... we'll need more stats and some school names you're trying for. With a 2.4 college GPA, you obviously don't have much have of a chance at the 'top' business schools. However, transferring to pull it up might be a good idea. Be more specific, and we'll see if we get anywhere.

I want to know if it is a better idea to transfer to another school locally, pull up my GPA and then apply to a business school..or would it look weird on my transcript that it said I already went to 2 schools within two years?
I am hoping to do well this semester, the only reason for the low GPA is because I got 1 D, all of my other grades were B's. Which is frustrating
My high.school grades were fine, and I had loads of extra stuff such as volunteering and sports.

I have started my college search, and right now I want to go to a school in the south (warm weather) and I want to enjoy it, the school I am at now, I absolutely hate, its miserable. That is as far as i have gotten in my search. lol

try the collegeboard college search an the princeton review counselor-o-matic
it's a good place to start if you're totally lost.

have you considered a cc near your home? good way to pull your gpa up...what school are you at now?

I am at indiana university of pa.
yes I was considering a cc and then transferring from that, I was just thinking it would look strange on my college transcript that I went to two schools in 2 years
