I am aware that the admissions rate for transfer students is extremley low at Yale (around 2% I've heard). But if someone were to apply as a transfer student from a prestigous university such as Georgetown or Middlebury with a high GPA and recommendations from proffesors (not TA's) with great extra carriculars, and an amazing essay, would they have a good chance of getting in?

I'm just trying to get some prespective on what makes a good transfer applicant!
