Transfers Accepted to Long Beach

I wondered if any transfers had been accepted?

As I stated in a previous thread, I got in the final round of acceptance's so I had to send transcripts in several weeks ago. I am in state, but out of the area. I keep calling the automated phone admissions line but I get the same message, "That they received my application," and all that. Anyone been accepted yet with similar circumstances?

I’m in the same boat. I’m from the bay area and I sent in my transcripts a week ago. I don’t think they have even received them yet. I’m a little nervous because I’ve heard they’re being very selective this year. What’s your major?

Like the two of you I am a transfer waiting on an admissions decision. I sent in my transcripts several weeks ago, but I am still getting the ‘Your application has been received’ message. So far I think I’ve only heard of one transfer who has been accepted. I am so nervous.

i am in area ( @ a cc 2miles away ) , the sys says " congratulations , u have been offered admissions," but it still says they haven’t got the transcripts yet .

yeah i am sent my transcripts on the 5th and mine still says “the initial review as been completed and we still need your transcripts” ughh

My major is film but it would be Pre-Film

It takes about 3 weeks after you send your transcipts before they update their system, and it will remove the message about not receiving them.

I am in the same boat as all of you. Let’s all keep in touch on here as people get accepted/rejected, to give ourselves hope! lol

Still no word yet. I just have this and the UCs to look foward to now.

Same here, I still haven’t had any change. I’m still waiting for admissions decisions the UCs I applied to as well. I also applied to Northridge, but they won’t give me an admissions decision until I send in my final transcript.

same, still says that it wants my transcripts. I’m going to call them tomorrow. I’m not ****ed but just SLIGHTLY aggravated, I’ve been calling once a day for weeks now

here’s the number if anyone needs it

1(562)985-5471

had a friend who went there last year tell me to call them between 10-3.
he REALLY wanted in there. 3.8 GPA, only school he applied to. He was calling them DAILY. When he got accepted, he personally received a phone call from someone congratulating him.

If you’ve been calling only once a day than you are doing better than be XD. I call twice a day. I know it’s pointless, but I am so anxious.

Has anyone tried activating their account yet?

yeah it just says my user id/password is incorrect.

well I just called the offices and they said it takes 4+ weeks to update the system to say your transcripts have arrived.

plus I learned, since I took Speech (it is part of the Golden 4) in the Winter, I need to send my official transcripts to all the CSUs again if not I can’t get a decision :/

The phone thing tells me they have received my application, and I have no pending documents that they need. So I guess just keep waiting to hear back.

The lady I talked to on the phone say decisions would be released from now until may 1st. I can’t wait that long XD.

neither can I, I will lose housing at other schools I applied too :frowning: My guess is mid-March to the end of March like the UCs

If I don’t take my transcripts to them tomorrow, I’ll automatically get rejected. I’m not planning on going there, so I don’t know why I’m even taking them over there.

The message changed back to ‘We have received your application’. I sent in my transcripts about two or three weeks ago.

i’m in the same boat as everyone else. my transcripts in the day the day that they asked for it. The recording has changed back to no documents needed. I guess i’m just going to have to wait a little bit longer. Also I’ve read that a lot of people actually talked to a person at Long Beach regarding their application but I’ve only called for the automatic response. Should I get a hold of someone there and talk to them directly?
