Has anyone else here applied for the spring semester?
I'm so anxious to get the decision email!!

I've got a 3.2 GPA (in my current college), 1860 SAT, and lots and lots of ECs like praise band, volunteering at shelters, work, and internships. I got a letter of rec from my pastor and from one of my marketing professors.

What are everyone's stats? Applicants and people who already got in last year :)

I am applying as a Spring transfer as well! Good to see I am not alone haha. I think most people apply as Fall transfers. Have you received a confirmation email from them yet or have they downloaded your application? I’ve been getting anxious, but someone in admissions told me that even with all the common app problems they will still be sending out decisions November 15.

Nice! I’m not really near getting my AA yet but decided on CC due to financial constraints and such. Now everything has worked out though and I’m really ready for a change so I’m really hoping I get accepted!
I have a 3.9 GPA and 2080 SAT. ECS are an internship, job, some volunteer activity, and some journalism stuff (I’m planning on a COMM major). My recs were from my internship supervisor and my speech teacher.
The wait has been killing me too. I’ve been checking my email like every hour haha! November 15 can’t come soon enough!

Also applying for spring, 3.2 gpa for 64 units. Will be competing on one of their NCAA D1 teams, hopefully the coach has enough pull to make up for my low gpa.

EndPhase, I think as long as your essays were good and you have a lot of ECs you’ll have a good chance of getting in! Even students with 4.0 GPAs don’t get in sometimes if admissions don’t think that they don’t fit the school and its vision.
I have a friend that got in with a 3.2 last fall; his grades and SAT scores weren’t too great but he was transferring from a military college and had great essays. A good GPA definitely helps but it’s nice to know that the people under 3.5 have a chance too! :)

Haha thanks for the info. Pepperdine is actually my first choice so it would be surreal if I got in. I actually spent about a month on my essays so hopefully the time I spent pays off. Hope we both get in!

Have you guys gotten an email yet? I haven’t gotten one and it’s only 10 days until they send out the decision (8 days if you only count business days). It’s weird too though because when I look at my common app it says my recommendations were downloaded but the app itself as well as the supplement just says submitted and I’m not sure if that will say downloaded too once they have it? I’m thinking maybe either they just aren’t sending out an email beforehand or they must make their decision for Spring transfers relatively fast haha.

I haven’t received an email yet either.

I would give them a call. They emailed me saying that I didn’t turn in a rec letter so I called them and cleared things up. When I asked if I would be getting any kind of confirmation email they said no, so I think it would be best to call and make sure they have all your documents! Just in case :)

Hmm weird I guess the process is just different for Spring transfers then maybe… Oh well at least we’ll still get our decisions soon! And that’s a good idea then if we won’t be getting a confirmation email. Thanks :)

Got an email two days ago saying my application was complete and in review with a decision being sent out by November 15th.

Yup I got one too; I guess we’ll be getting them after all!
Ahhh! This is it guys! The next email we get from them will be our decisions!!
Did you end up getting one LoveEducation?

Yes! I got the same email. Made me feel so much better haha. The notification date is getting so close!!!
