Transfers Fall 2014

did anyone else apply as a fall 2014 transfer or know when we will hear back from them? … tufts was my major reach, know i don't stand a chance, but i was just wondering when i could expect my official rejection letter!

I applied for the transfer fall 2014 also, still haven’t heard anything from them except to set up my UW Net ID.

I’m a 2013 transfer student and I received my decision on May 13, 2013.

oh wow thats not until like 2 weeks after my current college semester would end…that will make withdrawing and all that interesting haha, especially the whole telling my coach i won’t be back haha…thanks for the help @DynastyV

I asked our transfer team on your behalf, and here is what they shared with me: “March and April is used as time reading and evaluating all transfer applications to Tufts. Committee will begin in May and decisions will be released in early to mid-May on a rolling basis.”

thanks so much @DanAdmiss@Tufts ! the waiting is the hard part, so it’s nice to at least have a date where the end can be in sight ! thanks again !

I really don’t understand why they need to wait until Mid-May. We have deadlines to meet for the schools we currently attend and Mid-may is past those, thus we don’t get any refunds. Surely it doesn’t take that long to make a decision because other schools have released transfer decisions already! Alas, I guess we have to wait until May.

The decisions are rolling. Some are released earlier than others. If you’ve got a reply-date for another school that puts you in a tight spot, reach out to our office and let us know.

I applied and haven’t heard back either. They did email me on 3/27 to confirm that my admission and fin aid applications are complete. Haven’t heard a peep from them since.

Hello everyone
I was wondering if anyone heard back yet??
Good luck to you all!!

No, haven’t heard back.

Hello
I am applying as an international transfer applicant and I was wondering if I should submit the Declaration and Certification of Finances form now or wait until I get an acceptance to do so.
Does anyone have any idea?

@TNK0555 Hey, I’m also an international transfer applicant and I didn’t even know such form existed! I’ve checked the website again and there is no indication that we need to submit the form.
…or am I missing something?

@rabbitsarelate I called admissions and they said that we will have to submit it once we get our response, so don’t worry about it now

Has anyone heard anything? People last year started hearing around now.

A decision is up on TAMS at least for 1 transfer applicant.

I have just been accepted!!! I am so excited!!!

Just got my acceptance about an hour ago!!! Can’t wait to be a Jumbo :)

Rejected.

rejected as well…choosing between conn college and trinity now, so not terribly disappointed
