Transfers -- Financial Aid

Hey does anyone know when we'll find out exactly how much financial aid we get? When exactly do we get the financial aid package that let's us know how much they're covering?

Oh and for the myUW resources thing, mine says $0.

They requested information from me, and mine says it will take 60 days to review my financial aid. :-/

Wow, University of Washingtons Admissions program is beyond the description of insufficient & poor. I feel bad for the students that are deciding between UW and school “X”. Of the five other schools I have applied to, I have received a response from them, all of them over two months ago. Not to be humble, was accepted to all -comparable to UDubs prestige- and part of the deal is you got to pay admissions and housing deposits to reserve your spot which generally was required latest like may 1. UW not even in the flippin ballpark on this time scale, As a transfer student I’m setting up my financial aid through scholarships federal and private loans, signing promissory notes, and getting my ducks in order. As is this process is hard enough in that time frame setting up housing/ classes/fin aid, Although I could if I was to be accepted to Univ. Washington switch, I got my roots ingrained in another school which starts in later august, Why would I?? I get notified now in July last pick of classes, 60 day potential for finacial aid update-which history shows they’ll need that long- have no idea about housing and only gets more competitive as school draws closer, top it off notify my scholarship organization of the schooling change. It’s like whats the point of notifying me so late, if your an experience student you’ll apply to more than one great school, Students aren’t trying to wait tell last possible moment to figure ish out like Terrel Pryor K, So in a nut I know the Dub is loosing out top notch students not because there choosing Other schools over Washington but there already COMMITTED and everything is aligned by the time Washington done scratching there butt figuring out if they should lettin the OSS or Int. student in. I’m not saying get on the same page as other schools but if they were to lets say cut back a month on response time it would be reasonable but being 2.5-3 months later than rest of academia insufficient for students in this state and mind boggling.
BTW I bleed purple and gold, Luv em
