<p>Does anyone know when transfer are suppose to hear back? The website says June 1st, but isn't that kind of late? Some of my deadlines to respond back to schools are may 1st and it would be nice to hear back from tufts, so I can make a decision.</p>
<p>I’m wondering about this, too. I called the admissions office a few weeks ago to ask, and they said they don’t have an exact decision date, but that everyone typically hears by late May / early June. I also searched through College Confidential to see when people had heard in past years, and from what I could tell, a lot of people seem to get decisions by as early as May 20th. But I don’t really have any exact information.</p>
<p>Dam that sucks. I guess I am just going to have to pay the deposit on one of my other schools and wait to hear back from tufts in late may. Then take it from there and see if tufts is worth the nonrefundable $500</p>
<p>You don’t have to do that. I’m in the same situation as you, and I called the admission office of the school who’s awaiting my deposit on May 1st and explained them my situation. They gave me an extension. Don’t waste your money!</p>

<p>I called my school and they said they wouldn’t extend the deadline. I called tufts and they said that they would do their best, but most likely decisions will not be out until after May 1st. Guess I am just going to have to pay the money unless I hear from Tufts by Friday.</p>
