<p>Since there’s been quite a few status changes as of recent I’m wondering if this is a good sign or not for those of us who’ve posted? I hear there are only around 15 spots open to production transfers and about 30 for critical studies?</p>

<p>I can’t imagine there’s that much space for transfers if the program is capped at 50-60. So it seems three of us that applied for production received status changes? That seems like quite a lot, no?</p>
<p>Disclaimer: still licking my wounds after Tisch rejection. Marbas, I envy you.</p>
<p>And panther, I’m still betting on your acceptance. After all the attention SCA adcom has paid to you, a rejection would be wordlessly cruel.</p>

<p>Thanks, but Tisch has just become out of the question for me today. The FA package was really bad. I think they met less than 20% of my need, and my loans would have been 110k for two years and that’s just for tuition. Well, so now that NYU is out I’m with you guys; just hoping on an USC acceptance. Personally I don’t care if it’s just to my second choice major at this point, if I could just minor in screenwriting I’ll be happy. At least USC says they typically meet 100% of financial need.</p>

<p>My second choice was English. If I don’t get into film production, I just want to try to focus on screenwriting.</p>
<p>@Marbas that’s a good choice. I decided on narrative studies since the courses are close to critical studies and your able to tailor the major within whatever aspect your going to focus either in theater or film. However I.could also apply from SC into film also and see if its easier since were already in the university. A lot of possibilities
