Hey I was wondering how cut throat Villanova's business school is.
Its one of the highest ranked business colleges and 33% of its student body are business majors.
Just curious if its cut throat and how much, thinking about transferring there.

I used to work in a bar right off the 'Nova campus. That being said, I never met Villanova student that wasn’t fall down drunk, peeing themselves, or failing miserably at passing a fake ID. Top rank? If you say so. Unfortunately, I’ve rarely had positive experiences with Villanova students.

Here’s a good lesson for you and other future VU business students: Don’t give a fake ID to a bouncer unless you’re willing to buy it back.

hahaha yeah on BusinessWeeks ranking of top undergraduate business schools they are number 11 and for like undergrad studies as a whole i think they are ranked in the top forty or so, but thanks for the advice, no fake ids got it.

…

I went through VSB and I loved it. Challenging but practical and definitely allowed me to be where I am now in the business world 3 years later. Rankings are important but VSB gives you such an abundance of real-world knowledge that in job interviews, you can seem to have more “real-world experience” than most recent grads.

Go for it!

How likely is it for a University of Michigan Freshmen to get into Villanova for sophomore year. I was accepted last year, but my freshmen year GPA is really bad. Does the main decision depend on the essay and why I want to transfer?
