Transfers unite!

Any transfers admitted yet? Everyone says wait till April.

I am sure transfers havent been notified yet because they have yet to end freshman admissions. Its just way too early and i even consider april to be too early. I am betting most of us will hear early-to-mid may because usc will request grades from many applicants when the semester ends

Whats up. I am a transfer hopeful and haven't heard a thing yet. I hate waiting! I want USC so bad, that school kicks a**. I have a question for others transfers, since the time I applied and turned in my essay and everything, a couple of things have happened that I think may appeal to USC. First, I have gotten some new grades (wintersession class), and also started an internship with a law firm. Do you think it would help me to write adcoms or the admission office a follow up letter telling them about my new internship, ec's, and reiterate my desire to go there or should I not worry about it. Oh yeah, what is up with these mid-year grades I am hearing about?
Thanks

I'm with USCwannabe. I think maybe those transfers with above average stats are the ones finding out in April. I'm not expecting to hear from them until late May-early June. I can't wait!

Are any of you guys sending midterm grades? I know they don't require them but don't you guys think it will help one if they see all A's?

Yea, if you get all A's this semester, it will definately help. It will show a more continuous trend in college work.

And whoever has an internship at a law firm, i would say to definately write a follow up. Thats big news, not to mention you could also include your midterm grades. It can only help

I don't know that they should be called "mid-year" grades, I go to GCC and this semester just started last month. I think it would be too early to have an instuctor sign a grade sheet right now. Thus, the dilemma is, when is too late to have your current work considered for admission?!
