@ uuuuuwwwww:

I applied with a 3.34 :O

I’m going back to my country on this Friday, therefore I need to pick a school before I leave in order to get a new I-20 T_T

darkvalentine- omg thats so sad! :(

Fleurette- Good Luck…don’t worry I’m on the same boat! Crosses fingers I hope we both get in! let me know if anything changes for you.

@ uuuuuwwwww:

I already received my acceptance letter on Saturday, sorry if my post was confusing >.<

Wishing you luck Crosses fingers ~!

oh my! you got in with a 3.34? this gives me hope!!!
Instate CC? wooow Everyone I know who has 3.9-4.0’s got in so far. I didn’t think they would accept people who are lower unless you had alotta credits.

Instate CC with 90 credits, how many credits are you transferring with?

Instate CC with 80-85 credits? I had a few classes that I took freshman year that didnt transfer as credits to UW I guess. That shouldnt be that bad right??? You must have a really good essay for you to get accepted that quickly. Congrats btw!! (:

I don’t know how soon I got my fin.aid letter from acceptance. I haven’t been checking my status daily…cause,well… My dad has been in the ICU/hospital and it was the last thing on my mind. :/

It was just a simple letter saying I only quality for grants, not any special fin. aid. (Which is going to change since my dad is now unable to work…) It had my student number at the top and a short message. I submitted my FAFSA to UW right on the deadline.

I have 3.7, 92 credits at the end of summer quarter. I KNOW some of them will probably not transfer. My AA is a simple Direct Transfer Agreement.

I applied as a Japanese major. I have 5 years volunteer/service organization experience, 4 years of Japanese, in 200 level Japanese now, and I spent last summer there. Part of my essay address the fact that I wouldn’t be able to afford to a college away from home.

I don’t think I actually applied to enter my major, I just put interest as Japanese and education. My letter has me as a Junior Pre-Hum (Humanities)

Background: International Transfer Student
Time Applied: Mid Jan 2010
Status of myUW now: We have received all the materials blablabla…

I start to feel frustrated as the rest of the schools had given me decisions around May and they are all on the semester system. I really do not know what to do now.

If your status change from “We have received…” to “We have reviewed…” (based on previous posts) with an unofficial transcript loaded and student ID number given, does it mean accepted or what?

Regards,
qwerty3232

@ uuuuuwwwww:
Thank you!
A classmate I know just got her unofficial transcript to load today. I think you should be fine

@creme13rulee:
Congrats on your acceptance!

@qwerty3232:
If your unofficial transcript loads with a student ID, it means you got accepted.

I feel like I have been staring at that “we have received” message for forever and a day…

I don’t want to be in the last batch to find out…I wanna know now! >.<

Lol… my venting of frustration to all you lovely people for the day. :)

I want to know now too! But I think I WILL be in the last batch, I’m a 1st year college transfer… So I think since I’m not a CC transfer I get put into the wait-the-longest pile

Bah why can’t they just let us all know now?

I’ve been stalking this forum for a couple of weeks now and thought I’d finally post. I was accepted in the first batch of in-state CC transfers last Wednesday and my letter arrived on Friday. I sent in my application on the very last day, and at that time my GPA was a 3.5 and I kind of have bad SAT scores, but I do have 90 credits. Good luck to everyone who hasn’t heard back yet.

I sent an e-mail to the people of the admission office, and got response several days ago. In the e-mail, they told me that the decision of most transfers will post from late June and early July. There are 4200 international transfers this time. I think it is still the long time to wait for the decision.
