<p>I honestly feel like this late in the game they probably will only send out rejection letters. maybe not for oos but for instate…most of my friends have gotten in already. I know people say dont give up but its hard not to. UW did this to me freshman year too and waited until August to tell me that I’ve been waitlisted…Just feels like they will do it again.</p>
<p>My status changed to final stage this afternoon and the transcript loaded right away. Finally, my 5-month waiting has come to an end even though it is too late because I have gone to another school. For those who are still waiting, UW are sending out both acceptances and rejections, probably you very last guys are all-around applicants (neither excellent nor bad) whom they need to take more time and discussions to give the final decision. So, wish you guys best of luck !</p>

<p>Guys, dont be pessimistic!! I know two ppl in my school received their letter in August: One was acceptance, the other one was rejection. So everyone who is not getting the letter still has a chance to get accepted.</p>

<p>see…now that’s just wrong. Who the hell informs people in AUGUST! That’s insane! I mean, even if U-Dub was my dream school (which it’s not) i would never accept them that late. I assume most people would have been accepted by atleast one school by then and probably accepted simply because the deadlines would’ve passed. It’s just no viable for people to accept in august unless they had NO other choice…</p>

<p>@uuuuuwwwww, yes, they were transfers, but one person’s GPA was 3.0 with a engineering major and she got accepted.</p>

<p>My orientation is July 21st. I signed up for the earliest one that they offered to me. And does anyone know if the orientation for transfer students is only one day?</p>
<p>My orientation is July 21st too at 8:30am ouch…it was the first date they offerred me too. I’m a psych major, hope there’s some space for us to register into some decent classes! I was told we are given a tour, husky card, register for classes, academic advising , and other info on majors and EC from other uw students.</p>
