Looking forward to having some new classmates!

that is great that they are starting it back up again. When i wanted to transfer there just when they started to not accepting transfers . Good luck to anyone who gets in. Harvard is going to be flooded with applicants.

Woohoo! I was a transfer myself, and I’m delighted they’re starting to accept transfer again.

Does this mean that people will start using Cornell as a gateway Ivy again?

That transfer admittance rate sure puts the freshman rate to shame. 10~20 out of over a thousand ;)

It was 75 out of about 1000 my year, which was pretty intense as is at 7.5%. Assuming a steady number (though I highly doubt it; I’m almost certain it’ll be well over 1000), we’re looking at a 1 to 2% acceptance rate this cycle for transfers. Phew. Glad I’m not applying now. :)

YAY! I have no idea whether my friends and I had anything to do with this, but it’s the right decision for Harvard and for applicants.

I can’t imagine how they will be able to make their transfer admissions decisions.
