<p>Now that I've been officially rejected, how hard is it to transfer into Rice? I'm thinking of just going to UT for fall -06 semester, and then taking SAT's, ACT's again, and then transfering.</p>
<p>Does anybody know any stats for transfers into Rice and how hard it is? I do know that they only matriculate 50 students ever year though...</p>

<p>What was your SAT score? If you attend UT for a year and get a 4.0 or 3.8+ or so, then you really dont need to retake the SAT. That is assuming that you got a reasonable score and werent applying with a score in the 1200s.
Note: No offense intended to anyone with scores in the 1200s.</p>
