who here is transferring/what are your stats?

i've posted mine in a separate thread. I know there's over a thousand transfer applicants, but according to this forum you wouldn't know it.

i posted mine in another thread, see 'assessment, por favor' if you want to look at them. according to my high school college counselor, who has been helping me with the process, transfers have it easier than freshman, we get almost a 30 percent acceptance rate. of course, that also depends on how many people decide to study abroad, and the numbers for study abroad have been increasing, so maybe we 'll have even more of a shot. my friend who transferred last year found out the first week of may, and i've heard other people say that acceptees get in that first week too, so even if it's not universally true I'm going to be freaking out if I don't hear anything by the end of the first week of May. And Reachin', how do you know there are over a thousand applicants? Is that based on last years stats?

I checked on the collegeboard and there were some posts here from the archives that somebody linked.

I'm applying to MSB and for 2003, they had like 300 applicants, 80 accepted, 50 matriculated. These stats I got from digging off the MSB site directly.

Okay, it seems like that's going to be a rough time. End of April -> Beg. of May
