Transfers

Just wondering whether anyone received a decision on their applications for transfer admissions???

No, but I applied late. I actually think that my fee waiver went through, because all I'm missing is SAT scores and HS transcripts (both are on the way). Good luck to you!

hey, I was accepted for transfer admissions and found out on the 29th from the BU applicant link...I sent my application online the night before it was due

I'm still waiting to hear from Tufts! (which is my first choice) so I'm not sure if I'll be attending BU

let me know how it works out for you guys

anyone else find out yet???

antneey, (and others)

Just curious. What school are you transferring out of and why?

I'm transferring out of Suffolk University in Boston mainly for academic reasons and my need to be in a more demanding university

accepted :D

hey, has anyone received any notification of how many of their credits will transfer?

I'm in, anyone know about finaid?

When do transfers need to tell BU if they are going or not?

browneyedgirl, I received my financial aid package about 2 and a half weeks after I received my acceptance letter... a new link appeared on the Applicant Link that read "Financial Assistance Decision"

malery, it is about a month (a little longer) after your admissions decision is made

How much did you receive, if you don't mind my asking? I sent my FAFSA and Profile in so late, I may get nothing. :(

and when are admissions decision recieved...

Check the BU Link website, it may already be there. I kept checking "Admissions Status" with no luck, but then realized there was an "Admissions Decision" link. ;) Good luck!

quite a bit..a little over 38,000

wow, I sent my FAFSA stuff (only) about a week ago, and I'm mailing a Noncustodial Profile waiver today... :( I hope there's still funding available this late. 38,000 would make me VERY happy!!! So far as when you have to accept your offer... I was notofied via snail-mail of my decision last Wednesday, and I must mail them back by June 7th. I hope that helps. Two and a half weeks is a small cushion, especially since I am waiting on decisions from two other schools; but whateva! I hope to see you all this fall.

Thanks for the info! I am just waiting to hear off the waitlist and I thought if maybe they are waiting to hear from transfer students, but that seems unlikely if some people do not even have to reply until the begining of June.

I just got accepted yesterday and I'm going. Now I just gotta see how much money they gave me.

Congrats! Were you one of the ones waiting for NYU as well? Anyway, I'm going to BU as well, see you there! :)

yeah I got rejected from BC and NYU. I didn't really want to go to BC but NYU was my first choice. I don't really know anyone in Boston but meeting new people is always a good thing.
