I go accepted to Penn state Altoona Civil engineering program, but I want to transfer to University Park asap (after first semester i possible), How can I do it, what GPA should I maintain to be able to transfer? Help! Thanks!!

It’s a 2+2 program. They’re going to ask you what your reason is for wanting to transfer so early. Will you exhaust Altoona’s course offerings in one semester?
You might get better grades, have smaller classes in Altoona, then after 2 years you can transfer to PSU main.
I know that they have 2+2 year program, but I don’t want to stay that long I really want to transfer out of it asap, what should I do so I can manage to transfer early?
You didn’t really answer my question. What is your important reason for transferring early? (Hint: “I want to” won’t cut it.) What makes you so special among all the students at branch campuses that you want to not follow the established plan? The advisors at the branch campus are going to ask you this. I’ve heard they’re notorious for not letting people go early if they can help it. If you’d be taking the same classes at UP as you would at the branch, why do you need to transfer before everyone else?
Short answer: You can’t. It’s a 2+2. The only way you can leave the campus early is if Altoona doesn’t offer the classes for your major any more (i.e. you’ve exhausted their available classes for your major). So, sometimes, rarely, it’s a 1.5 +2.5. But that’s rare. LOTS of kids who get into a branch campus want to transfer ASAP. That’s why they don’t let you. It’s a 2+2. That’s the option. I’d say you could ask to be reconsidered to start UP in the summer if you were on the border, but at this point I don’t know if they are still doing that.
If you don’t think you can make Altoona work and for you to be happy there, you may want to consider another school. Also, don’t think you can start at another school and then transfer to PSU UP from there. It’s even harder to do that. PSU takes you freshman year - or junior year. No one really transfers in (either from another campus - or from another school) in sophomore year. It’s a class availability thing as well.
