What do you know about getting transportation for a 11th grader to a summer academic camp at the University of Missouri-Columbia? We're trying to arrange transit from the airports at either Kansas City or Saint Louis. At this point we adults have a job-schedule conflict that makes traveling at the appointed time unlikely. And we have no relatives or friends in Missouri. Other than declining to participate in the program [a high possibility], do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

MO-X it is. They will pick you up at the airport. When you leave from Columbia, they will pick you up at home; I think that works in reverse as well, i.e., I think you can be dropped off at the university, but you should check on that.

I would second Missouri Gal’s link to Mo-X Express. It leaves from the St. Louis and Kansas City airports and goes directly to anywhere you want to be dropped off in Columbia. Very nice drivers. They give you a bottle of water and a copy of a magazine about Columbia.
