Transition Period

Boarding school seems so great: so many opportunities, different people, great academics, and more. When you were accepted to a boarding school, how was the traisition period?

Please don't sugarcoat anything! How were the increased homework, homesickness, dorm life and school food, Harkness (if applicable), and other factors of boarding school life? Any help would be appreciated. I know that if I go to bs, the transition will be challenging. However, was it overwhelming, manageable, or fine?

Bump!!! :)

transition period is challenging because there are so many new things. as a sophomore, i realize how more relaxed i am now that i know the expectations for everything.

Thanks. So, there were definitely much higher expectations. How did you adjust to more work, and a much busier schedule?

just had to use my time wisely. at times it was overwhelming but i got used to it.

Life in boarding school is pretty hard. There are always so many things going on at the same time, you have to learn how to manage your time, balance everything. The school will push you hard.
