My son, an Economics major, will soon be a college graduate, yet he still acts like a 12-15 year old, especially with grooming, advocacy, and of course communication. I am nervous he'll never find a job. So I started looking into residency or transitional programs for kids (adults really) like him who help him transition into the "Real World", mostly procuring a job. What I'm really concerned though is that these programs will still find him jobs that are "beneath" his skill levels. He has a low self-esteem, but not a low IQ.

Does anyone here have any experience with residency programs for young 20 year olds with Asperger's? Or know of any? Or a transitional program that can monitor him through the job process and that first week of a job?
