Translated transcripts issue

Hi,

I'm a student in a French school who is applying to US colleges and I'm having an issue with my transcripts. I have had my transcripts translated by a certified agency and have given them to my counselor. However, he is unable to send it through Naviance (Common App online transcript submission system) because the file is too large as I don't have a single-page transcript for all of my high school career but rather one page per trimester (kind of like a report card).
Therefore, I'm going to be mailing my transcripts to my schools. However, the translation agency has only given me one original print-out of the translations so I have made color copies of the translation to send them to each college that I'm applying and the quality of the copies is pretty decent. Will colleges who explicitly require official transcripts accept these copies for the application review process?
I'll be sending my original translation to the college I decide to go to after I receive my admissions decisions.

Thanks for the help.

Just ask your counselor to attest the copies of transcripts. That will do.
(in case you are wondering what attestation is, its basically transcripts bearing the official seal of your school along with signature of your counselor)
