Generally, what transportation is used to get from one side of the campus to the other? How are they?

they are called.... NIKES....

nah jp, they got shuttles and stuff, but most likely if yer incomin freshmen, yer gonna get a really bad parking spot if you got a car so u'll be doing a whole lotta walkin

I'm out of state so I won't have a car. But I just saying if you have like 15mins to get to your next class on the other side, what else is available other than walking.

that shuttle system looked real good. I didn't know where they were going at each stop but when I was walking around and I saw a bus going in the same direction I got on it. I would take it as far as I could and get off it and do it again. I am sure I will learn the shuttle routes

a little walkin never killed anyone =) just plan yer schedule so that yer not walkin back and forth back and forth every class..

Walking is great unless it is cold. I hate getting all bundled up with that wind cutting at your face. Burrrrrr. I do like winter activities though and SNOW DAYS! I guess I will never have another high school snow day :(

When we toured U of MD, our guides said they would not let students schedule classes too closely together that could not be easily walked in the space between classes. Apparently, their scheduling computer is set up to trigger an alert if consecutive classes don't allow adequate walking time.

Best wishes to all.
