Anyone granted this for this year?
Also, anyone who participated in the past...since it is a general open house with (I imagine) a ton of people...how many kids are there on the Transportation Assistance Program and what do they do Sunday evening?

I’m a recipient of the TAP, too! It’s awesome to meet both of you (virtually, at least). I’d also like to know more about the schedule, so please let me know if you find out!

South for me. Never been to Wesleyan. Looking forward to getting a feel for the university and the area in general! I was pleasantly surprised by this trip…kind of expected a rejection!
HSG

I expected a rejection as well, because I live so close and because my test scores and grades are a bit sub par. So excited to go - Wesleyan is my top choice!! Hope to see you guys there!

Our child is going to this next week. Every other fly in has emphasized that you need only bring very casual, comfortable clothes, even if you were being interviewed. This one states that you had to be dressed appropriately for the interview. Sigh.
One more outfit to shove in the small duffle bag for carry on flights!

For those arriving early on Sunday, what do they do all day? From the schedule received, they will not have anything until 5:30pm. Our D gets in quite a bit earlier…she is planning on bringing homework (in case her host does not meet up with her until that evening.) and may grab lunch at the airport since she gets to campus early afternoon. But she is hoping that the ‘rules’ are relaxed enough that if there are no organized activities she can roam around town and the campus on her own or with another fly in student. Two fly in she went to let the kids roam freely on campus and off when not at activities, another had pretty clear rules to stay in a certain area. Any thoughts from the Oct. attendees?
